We started at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, where Leanne + JJ got ready separately for their Baltimore Museum of Industry wedding. Leanne paired brand-new, sky-high blue shoes with her late mother’s wedding veil as well as her wedding ring. JJ’s ring, meanwhile, incorporated two family rings. It was such a lovely combination of old and new. The groom’s mother just happened to take a seat in the most beautiful window light of all time to check something on her phone while getting ready. Meanwhile, a few floors away, JJ was writing draft after draft of his vows and getting ready as well.
The groom, looking mighty dapper.
The bride, looking absolutely lovely.
I love this next image so much.
Then we were off to the Baltimore Museum of Industry for the wedding!
And then it was time for Leanne + JJ to see each other for the first time that day.
I love this photo that my talented friend, Jennifer Cody, captured from the opposite end of the room.
I love the snow and the winter so much that I can’t help but do a little celebratory dance when I get to make some pictures in the snow for my clients. I love Leanne’s enthusiasm here!
After a few family photos — including silly faces with the flower girls — it was time to get married!
The couple wrote letters to each other to be opened on their 10th wedding anniversary. Their officiant tied them up in a wooden box for a decade of safe keeping.
He did this a couple of times throughout the day. It was incredibly sweet.
We took a few post-ceremony portraits in the textiles room of the Museum of Industry — a location that felt especially appropriate for this incredibly crafty bride.
And lots and lots of fun and frivolity.
We made lots of jokes over the course of our time together about Leanne and my vast height differences. So we finished off the night with a couple of quick photos to capture it!
Many, many congratulations, Leanne + JJ. It could not have possibly been any more fun to work with you, your friends and your families on your wedding day!
