It is no secret that my most favorite aspect of my job is capturing authentic emotion and real moments for my clients. Every time I catch a little glance between a couple or a few tears or hearty laughter or a meaningful look, I hope that my clients will remember how they were feeling at that exact moment when they see the photograph and that the collection of images altogether will help them relive those sentiments for forever. Denise + Rob had countless moments like that. In choosing and preparing the images for this blog post, I kept finding little series of photographs that I wanted to share. One led to another which led to another. The wry smile. The pointed gaze. The knowing glance. The laughter. All of it was such a joy to photograph. They chose to include all kinds of thoughtful touches into their wedding, from the photo of them in a laundromat on the placecard table to honor the place they met to all the details paying tribute to their favorite TV show, Supernatural, a series that follows two brothers who hunt demons, ghosts, monsters and other creatures. In addition, the ring bearer carried the wedding bands to the altar in a toy car. The couple gifted custom air fresheners to their guests as a little surprise at the end of the evening. And the newlyweds delighted their guests when they delivered a carefully choreographed first dance to a tune from a musical comedy series about falling in love at a laundromat. It was wonderful!
