I am a person who grumbles almost every time my alarm goes off at 4.30ish in the morning before a sunrise portrait session with my clients. But it takes only about three or four images before I grudgingly admit to myself, “Oh yes, *this* is why we get up for first light. This light cannot be repeated at a more convenient time. It’s like a reward for the early alarm.” As I reformat memory cards and clean gear for Rachel + Matt’s big day today at the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, I couldn’t resist looking back at and sharing a few favorites from their engagement session earlier this month. I can’t wait to work with these two again today for their wedding!
