Heather & Jason – The Engagement Session

I am always honored when a couple chooses to work with me for their wedding photography. When that couple includes someone who works in the weddings and events industry, it is even a wee bit more flattering since that person sees and works with so many photographers, florists, DJs and bands, and hair and make-up artists on a weekly basis. Such was the case with Heather, who works as the membership and events director at Hayfields Country Club, and Jason. I could not be more excited for their wedding today at The Antrim 1844. As I print final, final, final schedules and reformat memory cards, I couldn’t help but look back on and share a few favorites from their engagement session last fall. We incorporated Mr. Boh, who towers over their Canton neighborhood and whom they love. And we made the most of the remaining fall foliage in the great outdoors. You can tell from the images that it was a crisp, cold morning. When I gently asked Jason to perhaps hold his breath for a moment or two so I could shoot a few photos without the great plumes of condensation coming from his nose and mouth, hilarity ensued. It is one of my most favorite series of engagement photos ever! See you soon, Heather & Jason!
