After first meeting with Colleen + DJ last year, I couldn’t help but cross my fingers that they would decide to choose me as their photographer. And after seeing them again in NYC last summer for their engagement session — in less than ideal weather conditions on a humid Manhattan morning — I knew that they would be nothing but fun as my clients. Every subsequent e-mail and phone call proved that to be true. As I work on the full collection of photos from their wonderful wedding day — complete with a joyful ceremony in the chapel where her own parents exchanged vows 48 years earlier, a somber visit to her sister’s grave and a lovely dinner party with their closest friends and family, many of whom traveled from DJ’s native India — I couldn’t resist sharing a few favorites for them as a sneak peek!
