Lauren + Eric chose a DC engagement session for their pre-wedding photos. We laughed and chatted and laughed some more all around the Georgetown waterfront together. For almost any photo job, it’s rare that the very first click of the shutter is a keeper. People who are unaccustomed to being photographed often need a wee bit of time to relax in front of the camera. Lauren + Eric needed no such time. Their full collection of engagement photos includes not only the very first image that I shot but also the very last. I can’t wait to work with these two again this winter at the historic Belvedere in Baltimore for their wedding. As I continue editing the full set of images from this DC engagement session, I couldn’t resist sharing a few favorites — especially since I know a certain mother of the groom has been itching for them!
