Courtney + Christopher have an epically fabulous how-did-you-get-together story. It involves the McDonogh School and a Federal Hill bar and a six-hour first date. I’ll share more about that in a full blog post about their wedding. But as I work on the full collection of photographs, I couldn’t resist sharing a handful of favorites for them as a sneak peek. After weeks — and weeks and weeks, it seems — of rainy weekend days, I was giddy at the prospect of a spring wedding for which my clients photography plans would not be derailed by bad weather. My little girls, ages 4 and 6, did their best no-rain dance all morning and it seemed to have finally worked. We had sunshine and a nice breeze and gorgeousness all around. Courtney + Christopher’s ceremony at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel blended Jewish, Christian and Ghanian wedding customs. To that, they added floating candles lining the aisle, a beautiful chuppah, trumpets and strings, and the most lovely personal vows you ever did hear. Oh, what a wedding it was! There are many, many more photos to come. Enjoy!
