Anne + Nathan’s wedding day was the second consecutive Saturday for me with clients who chose a gorgeous outdoor location for their big day and a forecast so drenched and dreadful that we all wondered whether we’d be able to use any of the outdoor spaces. But a wedding day weather miracle occurred. After a daylong downpour so intense that the church briefly reverberated with the sound of National Weather Service flood warning alerts, as we were on our way in the wedding party bus to Ladew Topiary Gardens, the last of the serious storm clouds scooted on out of the area. Anne + Nathan gamely ducked in and out of the beautiful garden’s arches and overhangs as persistent drizzle came and went. But we were able to make some beautiful photos in the gardens that they love so much.
