Melissa & Eric – sneak peek!

One of my first weddings this year was with Melissa & Eric. They said their “I Dos” on an overcast and mostly rainy day in Baltimore. But during a little break in the drizzly weather, we dashed across the park at Mount Vernon Place, shooting some fun portraits by the blooming magnolia trees and Baltimore’s Washington Monument (which is, by the way, older than the more famous monument of the same name to the south).

As we headed over to the entrance of the George Peabody Library, where Melissa & Eric’s guests were already enjoying cocktail hour, we came across a street musician sitting on the edge of the cobblestone square. He happily obliged the newlyweds’ request for a song. And as he strummed away, Melissa & Eric danced their first dance as husband and wife. What a lovely moment.

I’m finishing up a long blog post on their wedding day — check back in the next day or so for that! — but I couldn’t resist posting this one image immediately.39-mvpserenade-w

THANK YOU for the sneak-peak! I was not aware of this special moment that you captured. I am sure they will never forget the “real” first dance. We are anxiously awaiting more captured moments to come!
