Laura & Mark — Hayfields Country Club — Maryland wedding photography

Laura and Mark met in college in Pennsylvania. Through Tucker. Mark’s dog.

OK, that requires a little more explanation. Mark was out walking Tucker one day. Laura spotted the mutt and his owner. “That’s a cute dog,” she remarked. They got to talking. Which led to dating. Which led to a sparkly ring. Which led to a simply lovely wedding at the Loch Raven United Methodist Church and the Hayfields Country Club. There were darling flower girls and ring bearers — Laura and Mark’s nieces and nephews. There were beautiful, summery orange and yellow bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces from Radebaugh florist. And there was a rocking party, kept lively and entertaining by Soor Kothari and Jeff Furnas of My Deejay.  And Tucker. Who could forget Tucker? We, of course, had to include the matchmaker in a few wedding photos.

Here are some of my favorites from their day:

Laura, looking gorgeous.

Mark and his brother at the church before the ceremony.

The groom and his father.

I love how Mark is looking at Laura in this next image…

… and the sweetness in these next two.

Married!

The famous Tucker.

The previously mentioned darling children.

Much happier now.

The newlyweds.

Laura and Mark were so much fun to photograph. They just never stopped looking at each other like they are in this next image.

A few reception details.

Laura and Mark rented a photo booth from Five Star Amusements. Ken Moss and his team are always so great to work with. And guests love getting to make a strip of photos for the bride and groom and having a set to take home for themselves. So much fun!

A first dance.

An emotional father-daughter dance.

A little mother-son twirl around the dance floor.

And a great party. Soor and Jeff, of My Deejay Inc., kept the dance floor busy all evening. Even during a brief power outage as a thunderstorm rolled through.

Congratulations, Laura and Mark. It was delightful working with you and your families!

    Hi Jennifer,
I just looked at the pictures and they are so good!! Laura and Mark always say that they don’t take good pictures, but you proved them wrong. People at work are very impressed!!
